kashmir today on 22 aug 2008 Thumbs list

Srinagar, Aug 22: When Mushtaq Ahmad of Habba Kadal offered Fateha at the Martyrs Graveyard at Eidgah, tears failed to seize trickling down from his eyes as he saw over one million people shouting pro-freedom slogans and assembling in nearby ground.Mushtaq's 35 friends, who had picked up gun for freedom and were killed in encounters with troops, are buried in the graveyard which is considered to be epitome of the ongoing freedom struggle since inception of armed struggle in early '90s. "Seeing enthusiasm of the people for the freedom of Kashmir today I firmly believe that the sacrifices of Kashmiri youth will not go in vain," Mushtaq said as he dusted the epitaphs on the graves. "They did not pick up guns on their own. They were aghast on the killing and harassment of Kashmiris by Indian troops to quell the freedom movement. Though they laid their lives for freeing Kashmiris from the chains of bondage, but their sacrifice has gradually started to bear fruit," he said pointing towards the unending rows of people at Eidgah ground overlooking the graveyard. Braving the humidity, an elderly woman showered flower petals on the graves. "Are they your relatives?" She slowly lifted her head and replied, "All martyrs are my sons.""They forgot their family and valiantly fought for our respect and freedom. It is because of their sacrifices that Kashmir issue has been highlighted. Though the struggle was muzzled for some years, it has been rejuvenated today with the assembly of countless people here from across the Valley. Now it is the turn of people to carry forward the mission of martyrs," she said [ More Detail ]

freemasons and the illuminati- End of Times 60f6 Thumbs list

DAJJAL"Dajjal"(Arabic: "The Deceiver"), in Islamic eschatology, is the Antichrist who will come forth before the end of time; after a reign of 40 days or 40 years, he will be destroyed by Christ or the mahdi ("rightly guided one") or both, and the world will submit to God. Ad-Dajjal first appears in pseudoapocalyptic Christian literature and is reworked in hadith (sayings) ascribed to the Prophet Muhammad. There he is described as a plump, one-eyed man with a ruddy face and curling hair and the Arabic letters k-f-r ("unbelief") on his forehead. His parents will possess ugly and unpleasant appearance. His mother will be quite fat. When he will arrive in this world, a strange animal will also arise which will cause disease and drought in its accessable regions, and it will also serve as the means of transportation for Dajjal.Ad-Dajjal will appear during a period of great tribulation; he will be followed by the Jews and will claim to be God in Jerusalem. He will work false miracles, and most people will be deceived. At this moment will occur the Second Coming of Christ, who will bring the demise of "the rule of Dajjal".Tradition expects Ad-Dajjal to appear in the East, possibly Khorasan, or in the West. In the meantime, he is said to be somewhere in the East Indies, on an island from which the sounds of dancing and beautiful music emanate, according to sailors' lore and the tale of Sindbad the Sailor. An alternate version is linked with the Greek Prometheus legend; in this account, Ad-Dajjal is bound to a rock on an island in the sea and is fed by demons.DAJJAL the Man, DAJJAL the System, Myth &RealityDajjal, Myth and RealityWhilst Gog and Magog are mentioned twice in the Qur'an, the Dajjal has no direct mention. This is extraordinary, given the assertion of the prophet, peace be upon him, that there is no more significant matter between thecreation of Adam and the last hour than the Dajjal.People reading or listening to traditional descriptions of Dajjal, the anti-Christ, may be forgiven for considering him to be a character of fiction. He is of an enormous size, travels at the speed of the clouds blown by the wind on a donkey, the distance between his ears being 40 arm spans, the deep sea only reaches up to his ankle, he has with him a mountain of bread and rivers, and works amazing miracles. He has been around since the prophet's days, tied in iron chains on an island in the sea which is populated by spies. When he is let loose, time will become short and the ground will shrink. This myth of a giant, however, is probably the reason that so many a hadith about him survived to the present day. Acquainted with the workings of modern technology, we are able to appreciate that the abilities of this superhuman creature are due to the equipment at his disposal. We have witnessed car and plane travel, we see images from across the world beamed into our living rooms via television, we use mobile telephones to keep in touch with people in the remotest corners of the world. We can understand how somebody can be in many places at once, listen to what happens at different locations in the earth, travel at speed and show us water you cannot taste and fire that does not burn you. To people before us, anybody accomplishing such tasks, must have been a magical being. Our unforgivable mistake is, that we love to hold on to the magic like a fairy tale from childhood which we can't let go of.Dajjal, the SystemIf we are talking about Dajjal, representing a system of disbelief clearly visible to anybody as such, be he literate or not, irrespective of the fact that it is being proclaimed in the name of trinitarian Christianity, then this Dajjal is alive and kicking amongst us, no longer tied down since he mastered the art of using iron, throwing off his chains and restrictions, making everything fancy from [ More Detail ]

Monument Valley Thumbs list

Some Shots taken for a contenst.Monument Valley is located on the southern border of Utah with northern Arizona (around 36°59′N, 110°6′W). The valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation, and is accessible from U.S. Highway 163. The Navajo name for the valley is Tsé Bii' Ndzisgaii (Valley of the Rocks). The area is part of the Colorado Plateau. The floor is largely Cutler Red siltstone or its sand deposited by the meandering rivers that carved the valley. The valley's vivid red color comes from iron oxide exposed in the weathered siltstone. The darker, blue-gray rocks in the valley get their color from manganese oxide. The buttes are clearly stratified, with three principal layers. The lowest layer is Organ Rock shale, the middle de Chelly sandstone and the top layer is Moenkopi shale capped by Shinarump siltstone. The valley includes large stone structures including the famed Eye of the Sun.Between 1948 and 1967, the southern extent of the Monument Upwarp was mined for uranium, which occurs in scattered areas of the Shinarump siltstone; vanadium and copper are associated with uranium in some deposits (see Uranium mining in Arizona). The twin buttes of the Valley ("the Mittens"), the "Totem Pole," and the Ear of the Wind arch, among other features, have developed iconic status. They have appeared in many television programs, commercials, and Hollywood movies, especially Westerns.Director John Ford's 1939 film Stagecoach, starring John Wayne, has had an enduring influence in making the Valley famous. After that first experience, Ford returned nine times to shoot Westerns — even when the films were not set in Arizona or Utah (see The Searchers, set in Texas, but filmed here). A popular lookout point is named in his honor as "John Ford Point." It was used by Ford in a scene from The Searchers where an American Indian village is attacked. The Himalaya Range (Sanskrit: हिमालय, IPA pronunciation: [hɪ'mɑlijə]), or Himalayas for short, is a mountain range in Asia, separating the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. By extension, it is also the name of the massive mountain system which includes the Karakoram, the Hindu Kush, the Toba Kakar, and a host of minor ranges extending from the Pamir Knot. The name is from Sanskrit himālaya, a tatpurusa compound meaning "the abode of snow" (from hima "snow", and ālaya "abode"; see also Himavat).[1]As words, the expression "Himalaya Range" is similar to the expression Sierra Nevada.Together, the Himalayan mountain system is the planet's highest and home to the world's highest peaks: the Eight-thousanders, including Mount Everest and K2. To comprehend the enormous scale of this mountain range consider that Aconcagua, in the Andes, at 6,962 m, is the highest peak outside Asia, while the Himalayan system includes over 100 mountains exceeding 7,200 meters.[2]The Himalayan system, which includes outlying subranges, stretches across five countries: Bhutan, China, India, Nepal, Pakistanand Afghanistan. They are the source of three of the world's major river systems, the Indus, the Ganga-Brahmaputra, and the Yangtze. Approximately 1.3 billion people live in the drainage basin of the Himalayan rivers. The range proper runs west to east, from the Indus river valley to the Brahmaputra river valley, thereby forming an arc 2,400 km long, which varies in width from 400 km in the western Kashmir-Xinjiang region to 150 km in the eastern Tibet-Arunachal Pradesh region. The Himalaya chain consists of three parallel ranges, with the northern-most range known as the Great or Inner Himalayas. [ More Detail ]

All the Indian Dargah Sufis are united to eradicate terroris Thumbs list

All the Indian Dargah Sufis are united to eradicate terrorism from the society.Under the perspective of Ajmer bomb explosion a press conference was held on 1st Dec 07, at Zaffran Restaurent, Connaught Place. Hadrat Syed Muhammad Jilani Kichhauchhavi, Hadrat Allama Tauseef Raza Khan, Naib Sajjada-nasheen Dargah Ala Hazrat Barielly Sharif and Hadrat Allama Tanveer Hashmi and former minister; central govt. C.M. Ibrahim addressed this conference. The explosion at the Dargah of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Sarkar Gharib Nawaz (R.A) on 11th of October 2007 is a great tragedy in the national, cultural, historical society of India. The organisations and communal groups of mischievous elements involved in promoting of bombing culture have always been rejected by Sufis of Islam. The universal religion which declares and upholds the murder of an innocent person the murder of whole humanity how can it permits to kill innocent people. It is need of the time to bring in public all such black sheep with believer's courage and conviction, hidden in our society. Ajmer Bomb explosion is an open challenge from all these terrorist and extremist groups and organisations not only for Indian but for all the peace loving communities of the world, which have caused great hurt to the spiritual feelings not only of those who have esteemed devotion with Khawaja but all those concerned with the chain of saintly orders. For God sake! It is not only to express anguish and grief over by issuing statement or holding protests rather should focus and come out with concrete mind to consider and act on the central point of thelasting solution of the safety and security of these sacred places. It is clear that Ajmer blast has challenged the religious sense of pride of Sufis of all the great Sufi Khanqah and the scholars of religious seminaries sharing the same views right from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Now the time has come for all those concerned with Sufis, to come forward for the protection and safety of their spiritual, ethical and religious distinct identity, security of Dargahs and for the existence of Indian national unity and integrity. They need to come forward to prepare a roadmap for the permanent solution of these sacred places to protect from the jaws of these terrorist elements who are the real enemies of humanity working internally and externally. For achieving these great goals a conference of great and distinguished representatives is going to be held in the National capital Delhi representing millions of devotees from north to south concerning with Khawaja and with Sufis. This historic convention will be held in NEW DELHI on 3rd and 4th December 2007 at (India Islamic Cultural Centre Lodhi Road New Delhi) under the banner of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz Council. The spirited approval of the representatives belongs to these esteemed Khangah and religious seminaries of India is continued to pour in this direction. Above mentioned Sufi Conference will prove to be a milestone in the history of independent India.H.S. Communication. [ More Detail ]
