Here's my version of "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay that I wrote in Sibelius 4 for a string orchestra. This song's been stuck in my head for the past month so I figured I'll try to get it out by putting it here.As far as the scoring goes, I doubled up the first and second violins with the melody. The third violins play the harmony. The violas. cellos, bases and piano give the beat and the chords. The timpani has the driving beat, and the drum set has a lot of different beats, including some disco I threw in in the middle.I tried to keep it similar to the original. All the sounds are from Kontakt Player. Please subscribe, or at least check out my other videos- http://www.youtube.com/pianoplayer4 [ More Detail ]

IMPORTANT: I do not own this song, Coldplay does. It is their title song in their new album. I am not completely aware of my posting rights after reading the information Youtube gave me. Because I am not posting the orginal mp3, I think I am in the clear. If this is not the case, tell me via pm and I will remove this video before I am penalized. Thank you in advance. ACTUAL DESCRIPTION: So, I was bored, fell in love with this song and arranged it on finale notepad. If anyone thinks I did a good job, feel free to request me to do other songs or even tell me to post my own songs, but I'll wait for feedback first. I know the quality isn't amazing, but as I was saving it to my computer, it lost some of its quality and now it sounds skippy in some parts. This is the video, not your computer messing up. Enjoy!-------------------------------------------I will not be offering mus. files to songs that I compose or arrange unless I say otherwise. please do not be angry when you are turned down or ignored. So the other day Coldplay gave out this song on their website and it was a pretty big deal...This time around, I actually recorded 3, yes three, parts and mashed them all together.1 - The blocked piano chords, very Coldplay-esque2 - The "bass" line and other junk I came up with (piano)3 - The melody line (cello)So this took me a while, the quality never is as good as I would like, but I hope you guys enjoy!Again, I apologize because I do not have any sheet music for any parts of this song, as I played by ear. our rendition of IRIS by the GooGoo DOllsVocals by JenSomeoneMusical Arrangement by ioHannJen posted her solo rendition of IRIS in youtube, so we thought of a collab on it ^_^i used Coldplay inspired piano riffs for the intro and last chorus, electronica drum loops and some acoustic plucking in the verses. a set of strings for the adlibs, a Cello solo lurking around the whole song, and pure Acoustic Guitars, no electrics or distortions. it paces abit slower than the original for a more ethereal feel to it, topped with Jen's voice, this is a version of IRIS you've never heard before ^_^we didn't get to take a video of Jen singing the whole song so i just made a montage of random clips of her. Special thanks to Galleria Crafts, Jen's mom and sister, Leo for taking the video, and McDonalds for our dinner ^_^go to this link to DOWNLOAD this song:http://iohann.multiply.com/journal/item/38/Our_rendition_of_IRIS_1_songEnjoy!iohann.multiply.comwww.myspace.com/jensomeonemusic [ More Detail ]
