Hi I'm Rebecca Field on this Monday, April 28, 2008 with today's UPI entertainment update.Miley Cyrus is apologizing to fans for some provocative pictures in Vanity Fair magazine. The "Hannah Montana" actress tells People magazine she's "embarrassed" about the photo spread, which she says, was only meant to be artistic. Cyrus was photographed by Annie Leibovitz for the publication, and appears to be topless and only covered only by a blanket. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's "Baby Mama" topped the box offices over the weekend. The comedy took the number one spot at U.S. theaters taking in more than 18 million dollars in ticket sales in its first weekend out. Another comedy, "Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay" with John Cho and Kal Penn landed in second. Last weeks topper "The Forbidden Kingdom" with Jackie Chan grabbed number 3. That's all according to box office mojo.Sources are rejecting reports that Amy Winehouse is headed for divorce court. Someone close to the singer and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil tells People magazine the pair have not decided yet if they will part ways. This comes after several British publications said the two were divorcing and have been unfaithful to one another. Winehouse and Fielder-Civil first met in 2003 and married in 2007. Stars stepped out in Hollywood over the weekend for the annual GLAAD Awards. The event honors the media's fair representation of the gay and lesbian community. ABC's "Ugly Betty" starring America Ferrera grabbed outstanding drama. The show's stars Michael Urie and Becky Newton were at the event on Saturday night. "Brothers and Sisters" with Sally Field took outstanding drama series. At the event, Janet Jackson was honored with the Vanguard Award for using her work to increase the visibility and understanding of the gay and lesbian community. She was presented the award by Ellen Degeneres. Fans welcomed another set of stars on the red carpet at the premiere of "Speed Racer." The film's star Emile Hirsch was at the event on Saturday night along with other cast members like Christina Ricci, Susan Surandon and John Goodman. The film is about a young man following his ambitions to be a top racecar driver. The movie hits U.S. theaters on May 9. That's all for now. Scenes from the 1995 movie "Wild Side" starring Anne Heche and Joan Chen.Similar in storyline to "Bound" and pre-dating it by a couple of years, it is a lesser known film but a very entertaining one. And, I might add, has a happy ending for them!Anne and Joan are beautiful in this and share some very erotic scenes together. Both of these women in real life identify themselves as bisexual so this brings a new dimension to their scenes...very natural and uninhibited.Note that Heche also made this film around two years before coupling with Ellen DeGeneres. These clips are from the Director's Cut. The bedroom scene is different from the regular issue. Actually, the original scene is much better imo as it flows more naturally and is uninterrupted unlike in this version...but, unfortunately I did not have access to it. So, if you are thinking you would like to purchase it, I recommend for that reason that you go with the regular edition over the Director's Cut.*Please excuse and try to ignore the annoying watermark in the upper right hand corner...I downloaded this movie from another site and unfortunately someone with an ego issue had to leave his/her damaging mark on it. I used to have a VHS copy of it but sadly it was damaged. This film is somewhat rare but still available for purchase online though you may have to search a bit for it. [ More Detail ]
