This is a video I made of the class B boys MT state cross country meet October 25th 2008. Missoula MT. Sorry its shaky and all over the place. I was pretty... emotional... during the race and wasn't really thinking about the footage. Most of the time these race videos are things I just slap together, but I spent some time on this one so I hope you like it.All season long, Matt Stout chased down Mike Asay to no avail, but he finally beat him in the race that really mattered. Not only did he win the individual title but he lead his team to a 1st place ranking to! With Seth Garbett taking third and Sean Abrahamson taking 9th! And while I'm going off, I might as well mention that Heather Demorest of Darby won the class B girls race as well!Go Tigers!State B ResultsAt UM golf course10/25/08BOYSTeam scores Darby 105, Manhattan 120, Glasgow 127, Manhattan Christian 173, Colstrip 200, Loyola Sacred Heart 216, Red Lodge 223, Three Forks 241, Cut Bank 259, Poplar 278, Big Timber 282, Huntley Project 300, Lodge Grass 306, Plains 315, Eureka 377, Thompson Falls 441, Wolf Point 454, Shelby 465, Valley Christian 498, Whitehall 55, Harlem 566.Top 25 individuals1, Matt Stout, Dar, 15:43.47; 2, Mike Asay, Man, 15:55.42; 3, Seth Garbett, Dar, 16:00.70; 4, Jager Warner, Jeff, 16:03.57; 5, Kyle Loewen, Gla, 16:12.33; 6, Todd Blythe, Colstrip, 16:24.83; 7, Dylan Day, Eur, 16:31.08; 8, Richard Knowlton, Pop, 16:37.74; 9, Sean Abrahamsen, Dar, 16:39.64; 10, Christ Atherly, RL, 16:40.25. 11, Travis Buttelman, T.Forks, 16:43.42; 12, Mike Evans, LSH, 16:44.20; 13, Hunter Azure, Pop, 16:44.95; 14, Marcus Red Thunder, Pop, 16:49.17; 15, Ryan Ovenell, ManC, 16:49.78; 16, Chase Robinson, Colstrip, 16:55.79; 17, Doug Raymer, Dar, 17:00.84; 18, Drew Keller, Shel, 17:05.77; 19, Luke Zieger, Gla, 17:09.30; 20, Tim Royce, Man, 17:18.22.21, Sam Hodges, BT, 17:21.87; 22, Tyan Blomback, Man, 17:25.94; 23, Justin Ovenell, ManC, 17:26.87; 24, Nate Kavanagh, CB, 17:37.43; 25, Jared Sine, Pla, 17:38.44.Other western Montana finishers35, Conner Collins, LSH, 17:58.15; 36, Galen Murray, VC, 18:01.98; 41, Kenneth Beech, Pla, 18:12.07; 43, Steve Rehbein, LSH, 18:17.85; 47, Matteus Hartley, Eur, 18:22.03; 49, Erik Dale, LSH, 18:24.66; 55, Carter Montgomery, Pla, 18:29.79; 61, Joe Lombardi, DL, 18:45.00; 71, Gustav Bjorlingson, TF, 19:10.34; 72, Stone Deavours, Eur, 19:13.34; 75, Dallas Hartness, Dar, 19:19.06; 77, Dan Cloninger, LSH, 19:20.11; 78, Thad Leclair, Pla, 19:26.40; 81, Erik Kappelman, LSH, 19:27.87; 82, Cody White, TF, 19:29.03; 93, Mike Barnett, TF, 19:40.43; 94, Logan Sheets, TF, 19:49.05; 101, Skyler Kinkade, TF, 20:01.45; 104, Christopher Wiley, VC, 20:08.69; 106, Dylan Lister, Dar, 20:11.23; 107, Danny Hurd, LSH, 20:12.17; 112, Adam Richards, VC, 20:19.68; 114, Kyle Breithaupt, TF, 20:26.61; 115, Corey Graham, Eur, 20:27.72; 116, Andrew Mack, Pla, 20:29.06; 118, Austin Seagraves, VC, 20:39.82; 128, Nathan Norberg, 21:04.44; 129, Austin Kinser, TF, 21:22.73; 136, James Mepham Eur, 21:58.55; 138, Cody Stone, DL, 22:09.79; 139, Lucas Hofstee, Eur, 22:29.66; 144, Grayson Leder, VC, 23:16.84. Hopefully moving on to a topic where some of you won't say we complain too much, Bret Ciminello stays on the panel with Rodney Leconte &Lawrence Haber to discuss the Best &Worst Entrance Themes. Should wrestlers use more classical pieces as entrance music? Is it better to use 'real' music than stock or original music? Coach Chucky's weekly press conference. For anyone who wants to blame Chucky on his fourth loss in five games, Chucky points the finger at... the other teams. Why? With one week of regular season action left - and Chucky now 8-5 and tied for second with three other teams (statistically in third place, behind two teams tied at 9-4), no teams have clinched any playoff spots! So this weekend, five teams will enter, but only four will proceed. Could the odd team out be "7-3-0" (now 8-5-0), against whom Chucky holds the tiebreaker after beating them twice this season? A favorable matchup approaches in Week 14 - the 5-8 KPChiefs, whom Chuck beat handily last time. And while Chucky lost his Week 13 matchup to a bunch of truly "second string scrubs" (Gus Frerotte? Earnest Graham?), he can once again claim victory over Carson Palmer. This is the third time Chucky had contained the Bengals quarterback - and just happened to be the third time in a row he faced Carson in a night game. Yet Chucky's last-minute decision to finally start Jay Cutler didn't help his cause, or Cutler's, this leads to some big questions heading into this weekend. If Chucky comes up short against a team that expects Donovan McNabb to return, and suffers a fifth loss in six games... does he even belong in the playoffs?second string scrubs (7-6) 164.25, Chucky's Destiny (8-5) 143.60QB Tom Brady 24.55 QB Jay Cutler 8.15WR Marques Colston 1.95 WR Wes Welker 0.90 WR Chris Henry 1.55 RB Joseph Addai 3.35 RB Adrian Peterson 7.45TE Donald Lee 1.50 W/T Dallas Clark 15.00W/R Justin Fargas 14.20 K Mason Crosby 12.00 K Nick Folk 15.00 DEF San Diego 25.00 DEF Chicago 13.00Total 143.60QB Carson Palmer 9.05QB Gus Frerotte 36.45 WR Reggie Wayne 13.90 WR Randy Moss 7.70 WR Andre Johnson 11.80RB Jamal Lewis 10.30 RB Earnest Graham 13.15TE Kellen Winslow 3.75W/T Reggie Brown 1.30W/R Kevin Jones 0.85 K Stephen Gostkowski 9.00K Nate Kaeding 6.00 DEF Carolina 30.00 DEF Miami 11.00 Total 164.25 Brady: 257 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT; Cutler: 214 YDS, 0 TD, 2 INT, 1 FUM LOST... Coach Chucky's weekly press conference on a day after a much-hyped matchup between two of three teams tied for first place ("7-3-0" lost a squeaker last week to the vahoos, 158.30-157.85) setting the stage for an epic showdown, in which Chucky was victorious - despite a boneheaded move to send Bengals WR Chris Henry and Packers TE Donald Lee to the bench. Even without their three combined touchdowns, Tom Brady's five TD passes, assisted by Joseph Addai and some unlikely help from Daunte Culpepper, as well as the Green Bay defense - the same defense his opponent had offered a trade for one week prior - were enough to overcome Tony Romo's four scores and defeat the "7-3-0" team , knocking them out of first place, and on a two-game losing streak. Meanwhile, Chucky puts an end to a two-game slide of his own, although he now faces questions as to why he benched two key players, and despite that, does he really care about winning games.Chucky's Destiny (8-3) 159.15, 7-3-0 (7-4) 147.95QB Tom Brady 54.10QB Daunte Culpepper 26.20WR Marques Colston 5.90WR Wes Welker 4.05WR Drew Carter 12.60RB Joseph Addai 11.30RB Justin Fargas 4.45TE Dallas Clark 0.75W/T Jeff King 0.65 W/R Derrick Mason 4.15K Mason Crosby 8.00K Nick Folk 4.00 DEF Green Bay 20.00DEF San Diego 3.00Total 159.15QB Tony Romo 37.75QB Vinny Testaverde 22.85WR Roy Williams 5.30WR Larry Fitzgerald 10.65WR Donte' Stallworth 2.80RB Willie Parker 2.60RB Steven Jackson 5.60TE Dallas Clark 0.75W/T Will Heller 0.35W/R Clinton Portis 2.25K Shayne Graham 10.00K Ryan Longwell 9.00 DEF Jacksonville 10.00DEF St. Louis 16.00Total 147.95Brady: 373 YDS, 5 TD, 0 INT; Culpepper: 344 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 FUM LOST...
